In the last call for applications to the Eurostars-2 programme (cut-off 7), a total of 401 project applications were received. This is the highest number of project applications received in a cut-off period so far. The main tech areas of the applications are in life sciences (134 ), electronics, IT and telecoms (132) and industrial manufacturing, materials and transport (46).
Projects will now be evaluated by independent experts in a two-step process managed by the EUREKA Secretariat. Within 4 months of the submission deadline, the Secretariat will announce the list of projects that have been earmarked for funding.
